We would like to introduce the growing Kalahari Review community to our mascot. Some of you may have seen a preview of him on the Welcome page. Now, thanks to Zimbabwean artist Cozie he has received a makeover and is now ready to make his proper debut.

To us Igby represents everything we want The Kalahari Review to be - smart, sophisticated, fun and distinctly African. We hope that you will grow to love him the way we have.

Over the next few weeks you will begin to see more of Igby around the magazine. Commenting on articles and events and soon featuring in our first collections of merchandise.
